In this role as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will join the Product Engineering team, nestled in the Engineering department.
Together with your 12 colleagues in this team, you are responsible for developing new or heavily customized, improved equipment on client/market demand.

As a Mechanical Engineer in this team, you will be responsible for

* Optimizing and developing equipment such as our hydraulic piling spreads, handling, and lifting tools (SolidEdge);
* Performing calculations to verify our design (Excel, MathCad, FEMAP);
* Managing and releasing the status of designs and documents within our PLM system (TeamCenter);
* Coordinating and supervising work done by offshore engineering teams and third parties when necessary;
* Supporting the production and service department in case of malfunction and during the commissioning of new equipment;
* Traveling to suppliers, clients, and/or project sites occasionally.
