The Boskalis Offshore Energy division provides a wide range of offshore activities through seven specialized business units. One of the priorities for the division is to increase effectiveness and efficiency in our organization and in our projects. The team of Operational Excellence is currently expanding and looking for a new team member.

Are you passionate about driving change and improvements in the Maritime/Offshore industry? This might be the job for you. As Operational Excellence Specialist you'll be leading and supporting change and improvement initiatives within the OE organization. Working together with our tender teams, project teams and the supporting departments. In this role, a main focus is on the personal change that teams go through when changing their way of work. Interpersonal skills are very important to execute this role successfully.

Your responsibilities as Operational Excellence Specialist:

• Set up improvement initiatives and teams in coordination with division and Business Units
• Manage improvement initiatives and teams, driving effective progress and sustainable results
• Measure and report performance and progress of improvement initiatives
• Coach and support change teams throughout implementation of improvements
• Running/facilitating workshops and other interactive sessions with the change and wider teams
• Improve knowledge and best practices sharing throughout the division

Your qualities and experience:

• Higher Professional Education or Business/organization background is preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement projects
• Strong team player and driver of change
• Good command of English (written and spoken)

Competences to execute this role as an operational excellence specialist, are: Motivating others, Organizational Awareness and Problem Solving. During the interview process we can zoom in on relevant examples from ones work experience.

In this role you will work together with different stakeholders in the organization to realize improvements and there will be support and coaching from the team manager. A suitable role to further develop process optimization and operational excellence skills from a strong analytical and people-skills basis.
